The Community Sport Activation Fund

Managed by Sport England, The Community Sport Activation Fund is a £47.5 million Lottery funding programme aiming to provide grassroots sports activity at very local levels. Amounts granted range from £50,000 to £250,000.

There is a unique deprivation targeting method involved where applicants can apply without partnership funding:

“If the substantial majority (80% or more) of the targeted participants for your project live in local authority ward areas with an IMD score of 25 or higher”
